December 3rd (by Allie)

The Nutcracker is special in our family around Christmas time. Our family likes to go see the ballet of it. We have about 15 nutcrackers sitting around our house in different places in our house right now.

Yea! I'm so glad you posted again. I've been missing you and your great family adventures and thoughts on life, mommying, teaching, and puppy tales. Love your collection of nutcrackers too. :0) Love you!

A Little About How We School

Allie is in 8th Grade and up until this year she has always gone to school on Tuesdays and Thursdays and has been homeschooled on the other days of the week. This is the first year that we are homeschooling full-time.

Jack is in 5th Grade and has always gone to school on Tuesdays and Thursdays while being homeschooled on the other days of the week. We are blessed to have a school in our area that is set up like that, and it seems to be a great fit for him.

Cooper turned 5 in the summer, and we have chosen to not start him in Kindergarten this year. He will attend Pre-K on Tuesdays and Thursdays and be playing at home the rest of the time.
