A is for Allie, Amy, Art, Ansel Adams, & Amon Carter

  1. How do you always get away with taking photos in an art museum? The one time I tried (and it wasn't even a direct photo of the art but rather a photo of my child with the art barely in the background) I was almost tackled to the ground by security guards.

    Love the cup.

  2. Randi - At the museums that we have been to before, photos without a flash were allowed except in certain exhibits. At the Amon Carter, I assumed it was the same rule, so I took a few in the Ansel Adams' exhibit without a flash. The docent came and told me that photos of photos were not allowed, but I could photograph other things (painting, sculptures, etc.) unless there was a little sign that said not to. My motto: Always photograph until you are told not to. :)
